On Saturday, October 10, Culture of Life Family Services (COLFS), alongside St. Gianna Physician’s Guild, hosted the Ninth Annual White Mass at Church of the Nativity in Rancho Santa Fe. Thomas McKenna, founder of St. Gianna Physician’s Guild, opened the event addressing attendees, and thanked them for their tireless efforts in upholding their Catholic principles while saving lives, especially during the pandemic.
The special mass was presided by the new Auxiliary Bishop, Ramón Bejarano, and attendees were honored with both a beautiful homily and special blessing from His Excellency. By acknowledging the challenges, yet affirming the need to keep the faith, His Excellency poured over his gifts through the Holy Spirit and gave all those in attendance a loving reminder of God’s miraculous love.
The mission of St. Gianna Physician’s Guild, according to their mission statement, “is to unite and encourage Catholic physicians, and those in the health care profession, to promote and defend Catholic principles in a public way by word and example, and to inspire sanctification in their lives.”
