On August 15, 2020, San Diego’s new Auxiliary Bishop Ramon Bejarano presided over the “Walking with Moms in Need: Year of Service” kickoff mass hosted at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Escondido. This is a nationwide initiative developed by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) to support pregnant and parenting women in need.

Immediately following the mass, Culture of Life Family Services (COLFS) was honored to have His Excellency not only visit our Escondido clinic, but to bless both our current and newly expanded space. With this blessing, we are excited to resume community programs such as our Nursing Moms Program (which officially started on September 11) and continue to focus on serving the needs of not only pregnant women, but all other families here in our community. Just as our faith preaches, we serve all people in all stages of life, from the womb to the tomb.
As we look towards the future of COLFS, we are even more committed to advancing our mission to ensure that Christ-centered medical care and pregnancy clinics are available to all women regardless of ability to pay. To do this, we are constantly improving our efforts on building a culture of life by developing relationships with our clients and providing support and follow-up care to affirm them in their choices for life.
If you or someone you know might benefit from any of the resources we have available at COLFS, please pass along our information and encourage them to view our website or stop by today.
This is our community, and we want to make sure that everyone can receive the care they deserve through the gift of love that was given to us by the Lord, our God.
