Thanks to our generous donors, our 10th Annual COLFS Pro-Life is Good Gala & Auction on October 19th, 2019 was a great success. We had nearly 640 friends and staff members in attendance at the beautiful Loews Coronado Bay Resort. It was an exciting night lead by our honorary chairpersons, Terence Caster and our keynote speaker, Abby Johnson riding the wave of her national best-selling book, Unplanned, and the follow up movie. Our guests enjoyed a nice dinner and live auction hosted by Sean Kelly. Dr. Delgado was the master of ceremonies. Receiving the Sue Lopez Pro Life Person of the Year Award was Bishop Joseph Coffey for his outstanding commitment to Pro-Life causes.
By the grace of God, we were able to raise over $500,000 to continue our mission of saving babies, serving women and families in need and supporting our community. It was a great evening and enjoyed by all. We look forward to seeing you at our next gala on October 24, 2020 with keynote speaker David Bereit who started and led the global 40 Days for Life movement through its first decade, mobilizing 750,000 volunteers in more than 700 cities across all 50 America states and dozens of nations, whose prayers and efforts have saved 14,643 children’s lives, brought 177 workers out of the abortion industry, and closed 96 abortion centers.
