On Wednesday, July 5th, at 11:00 AM, COLFS was blessed to have Bishop Ramon Bejarano celebrate the Dedication Mass of the Blessed Sacrament Chapel, alongside Father Derek Twilliger, Father Scott Herrera, and Deacon Mitch Rennix. This joyous occasion marked the establishment of a truly special and sacred place for all to encounter Our Lord.
The fabulous Tabernacle was generously gifted to COLFS by Archbishop Cordelione and originated from St. Veronica Church in South San Francisco. Additionally, Father Driscoll, the Pastor of St. Veronica Church, bestowed upon us a precious Ciborium.
Open to the community from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, the Blessed Sacrament Chapel provides a serene and contemplative space for visitors to encounter Our Lord. Patients are encouraged to make a visit in the Chapel before or after their appointments.
We extend a warm invitation to everyone to join us for the First Friday Mass every month at 8:30 AM in Suite 101, followed by adoration for an hour in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel.
The Dedication Mass was a deeply moving and solemn event, made possible by the presence and contributions of Bishop Bejarano, Father Twilliger, Father Herrera, Deacon Rennix, MC Ron Clemente, and Cantor Ken Shinji Mary Onoda. The Knights of Columbus played a crucial role in providing the Color Guard, adding reverence and honor to the celebration.
We express our heartfelt gratitude to our extraordinary benefactors, whose generosity made the Blessed Sacrament Chapel possible. Without their support, this sacred place to encounter Our Lord would not exist.
The dedication of the Blessed Sacrament Chapel is a momentous milestone for COLFS and the community it serves. May this sacred space be a source of inspiration, solace, and profound encounters with Our Lord for all who seek His presence and grace.
