About Us

Defending the life & dignity of every human

Since 2000

Culture of Life Family Services is the only Catholic organization in Southern California that offers comprehensive medical care and pro-life pregnancy clinic services for women and children.

COLFS Medical Clinic services include client counseling, ultrasounds, medical care and follow-up support for women and families in need, including referrals for housing and adoption.

Our Story

COLFS started as a faith-based outreach connected to the Catholic community in San Diego County.

Leaders of the St. Dismas Guild began developing a program focused on Natural Family Planning and pro-life education.

2000

The program was presented to the board of the guild, and the new ministry was given the name…

“Culture of Life Family Services.”

It was sponsored and developed by Deacon Ken and Marie Finn, who wanted to promote respect for human life and help families in crisis pregnancies. In 2001, COLFS was established as a separate non-profit.

growth

COLFS eventually expanded from education and counseling into direct medical services. The organization positioned itself as a Catholic alternative to abortion providers, focusing on medical care and pregnancy support.

today

COLFS serves as San Diego’s only Catholic community medical clinic, offering Christ-centered comprehensive medical care and pro-life pregnancy clinic services for women and children, regardless of ability to pay.

What We Do:

Our Mission

To ensure that Christ-centered medical care and pregnancy clinic services are available to all women—especially those facing unplanned pregnancies—regardless of their ability to pay.

This includes access to Abortion Pill Reversal for women who have regret after starting a medication-induced abortion.

Our services provide women, babies, and families with pro-life medical care, pregnancy support, and education grounded in Catholic teaching.
